JB Sounds can provide PA Hire in all of Cornwall with our competitively priced packages. As well as most popular packages, we can also provide individually priced items including monitors and additional microphones.

All of our package deals are available to suit any occasion, our acoustic and basic packages are the ideal setup to cater for small indoor events, especially for a band that needs a PA to work alongside their own back line, which will push out clear vocals. The conference package is good for speeches, talks, lectures, award ceremonies as this package can ensure every word is heard. If background music is required or there are visual presentations that require audio to be heard. Our band package is perfect for any size band in any indoor venue, providing a bright top end and having a deep low-end sound to the mix. We also have an outdoor event package; a combination of front of house sound, stage equipment (including monitors) and lighting with rigging.

An engineer working with an in-house system or a PA System provided by us, responsible for full set up, sound checking all performers, engineering, and stage-managing the whole duration of the performances or event, can be provided. Here at JB Sounds we also have a range of lighting packages as extras to PA packages to create an amazing look at your next event! Ideal for a band or anyone who wants to fill a large marquee with light and colour; the effects lights ensure that there is not a dull moment and that everyone will want to party. With a mirror ball effect and sound to light LEDs the lighting can enhance the appearance of your event, ideal for both indoor and outdoor events with the hire of a smoke machine. A wash of colour can also be provided for a more relaxed and subtle atmosphere.

JB Sounds has worked with all kinds of genres in music along with providing sound for various kinds of events such as fashion shows and charity events all over the county. Previously working with touring and local acts such as Atomic Blondie, Who's Who and Josh Curnow, we have built on and extended our skills and our engineering abilities. Working in various venues in Cornwall such as The Guild Hall in St Ives, The Rockpool in Hayle, Mangos Bar in Falmouth, Heartlands in Pool and The Poly in Falmouth on which occasion provided sound for guest speaker Terry Waite CBE. Including these larger venues, we have worked in numerous pubs of all different sizes within the Duchy thus proving we can easily adapt our knowledge and skills to suit different venues and events.
Our Team of sound Engineers have a variety of experience from live bands to theatre work plus conference work and PA set up. They all have experience as musicians and appreciate how frustrating it can be for a musician that cannot get the desired sound from an inexperienced engineer.
