What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a correct quote we need to know more about what sort of event you are organising - we are a vintage inspired company so this is a very 'niche' style, however we do lots of different style weddings so it helps if you describe what kind of event you are trying to create.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Explain what you are trying to organise (style, venue, atmosphere etc) then ask if that sounds like a good fit with the provider. Explain exactly what you need them to do and what your timings are (for example if you need a tea party between 2-4 then you need to understand that the provider needs to set up at least 1 hour before & take down). If you are on a budget state what your budget is.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started my business 5 years ago after not finding the sort of wedding supplier I needed. During that time we have evolved in line with couples who love vintage & relaxed weddings, now also providing vintage wedding music with our own DJ and drinks receptions like the ones you've seen on Pinterest! We also offer venue decor so that you can ensure your wedding looks as beautiful as you've been dreaming of.
We are based on the borders of London/Essex and we collaborate with some really quirky venues around the area.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Recently we booked a 1940's themed birthday party - the customer couldn't believe that she had managed to find the kind of DJ that she really wanted-she wasn't sure such a service existed! We also arranged 1940's singers for her party and offered a full themed event-she said we had exceeded her expectations and had enjoyed the event so much-as did we!
