What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would need the event date and address including postcode, an estimation of the number of guests attending, and an explanation of the services required. With this information, we can use our knowledge and customer service to give an accurate quote that is tailored to the needs of each individual event.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to ask lots of questions about the equipment that they are looking to hire so the supplier can gauge the best understanding of all the bits and pieces that are needed to make up this quote. If they can, send some photos of what they would like your event to look like, so we can use it as inspiration as well as come up with a bespoke set to suit your needs.

For over 35 years B Audio Visual has been delivering AV hire equipment, LED video wall, conferences, and live events to a wide range of clients. With three dedicated areas, B Audio Visual, B Installations and B Events we are an extension of your team, delivering Awards nights, AGMs, Conferences, Road Shows & Outdoor Events.

2014 saw us change names from Blaby Audio Visual to the shortened B-Audio Visual that we are today, or just B-AV as most clients call us.

2016 saw us move to larger premises in Leicestershire, we have a fab new office and are always ready to welcome clients to come and see us.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

A recent booking that we had through Add to Event was for our Stage Trailer that was used to accommodate a band at the end of July. The client was happy with our customer service as any queries were answered immediately, and the Stage Trailer really helped to make the event effective. As a result of this, we got a shining five-star review on Add to Event, which will hopefully lead on to us getting more bookings. We would definitely recommend Add to Event, as it is easy to use, and way worth the investment.
