LDJ Events were established in 2014 by Layton Chantry and are based in the heart of Shropshire in the town of Telford. They offer a selection of Entertainment, AV & Event Services for a wide range of events. Read on for more information plus tips on choosing a supplier for your event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we require the following information: Services Required, Event Date, Event Time, Event Location & Event Type (Eg Wedding, Birthday etc). We can then offer a tailored quote specific to the customer and work with them on making their event one to remember.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, look at what services your suppliers offer that interest you and whether these services meet your needs. Booking with a reputable supplier is a must so always ask for reviews, look at photos/videos of their work and be sure to enquire about Insurance, PAT Testing, DBS Checks and any Professional Bodies they are part of.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
LDJ Events was started in 2014 following a very successful youth enterprise called 'DJ Youth. Coming from a Technical & Music background meant that my passion has always been for the Events & Entertainment industry and I love making everyone's events memorable. Over the years I have worked all over Shropshire and The West Midland's Nightlife hotspots and have a great team working with me to ensure every event received the attention to detail that it deserves!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Recently, we have completed our first booking via Add to Event and we have now taken more bookings for 2022 via the service. The booking process was simple, the credits are well worth the money and it allowed us to open up to a much wider market than what we can naturally reach through our own marketing, I would definitely recommend Add to Event to other Entertainment & Event suppliers.
