What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a basic party, all we need is the date, place and type/ amount of people.
If the customers wants any special requests we have an online system to record these before the party.

Wedding and larger events take a little more planning and we would always like to have a planning meeting either face to face or over the phone.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First note to any customer, pick the right venue, having a 100 seat venue with 30 guests will kill the atmosphere before we even start.
Then for your party itself is it going to have a theme? if so make sure your DJ can build a playlist to suit, give them as much time as possible to do so
Think about if you are planning for it to be a dancing party or a chat and catch up? make sure the DJ knows what is going on, if you just want background music so everyone can sit down and eat etc telling the DJ will make them feel much better, equally if you want it banging from the word go make sure we know.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started Weston Disco mainly to supply the party havers with the option of their own music, or even have a friend play DJ for the night, reducing the cost for them and also making things like house parties more interesting.
Over the few years we have been running, we have now started supplying equipment for live bands, events like garden parties and DJing itself, of course, now its been 10 years since I last visited Ibiza but I still like to get a party rocking from time to time, even if it is a kid's party with games and balloons.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event system is one best on the web, easy for me to use and I find easy for the customer.
Lots of features that help plan the event and easily copied and shared with my staff and the systems we use to manage the work. I don't have any friends to recommend it to but if I did I would!
