What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to provide you with a quick and accurate quote, it would be fantastic to have as much information as possible.
If you have a budget in mind, that's always helpful to work with. If you're struggling for inspiration, we can provide that while keeping in your budget.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Experience, insurance and quality is key.
Making sure the provider has insurance for any job is a must - if anything was so go wrong. You're covered!
The quality of props and balloons is again, a must. If you're charging a premium price, the quality of your work must reflect that.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I've been in the balloon industry for many years now. But I wanted to grow.
During the lockdown, I look at growing my business, and as soon as we came out (of the 1st lockdown) I got out there decorating venues for all sorts of events.
I then bought light-up numbers, shimmer walls, moongates, easels and a lot of other fun props.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I had my 1st booking from Add To Event not so long again.
It was for a relatively local school that was looking for some balloon decorations for their school event. Everything was sorted via email, and I was lucky that my client trusted me and that I understood their vision.
When we finally meet on the day of the event, my client was overwhelmed with what we provided. We both couldn't have been happier.
I've recommended others already to this platform. No job is guaranteed, and you need to spend time on each individual client, but for me, it's a fantastic experience as I'm still new to the industry.
