What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we do require the event date, the budget, type of event, how many guests, how long do they want us to play for e.g. 2 x 45 sets or 3 x 30 min sets or 2 x 60 min sets. If PA and sound are supplied or we need to supply it.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ensure they have all PA and backline kit, lighting, including a potential sound guy on board. A band can have a great demo but live performances depend heavily on how they set up their own equipment and if they know how to do it, how they soundcheck and if they have a sound guy. What is the quality and condition of their equipment?

We simply love playing live music, we love the energy from a large crowd, how people enjoy dancing. We are all professional musicians, some are music teachers themselves and enjoy teaching students of all ages and in schools, We really know our stuff. We pride ourselves on our energy, commitment and passion as well as the wealth of musical knowledge already within the band to enable us to provide nifty twists on covers of all the dance floor fillers.
