What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To give a comprehensive quote to a customer, we need the event date, the venue name and location and type of event. From this, we can use our experience and extensive expertise to put together a personalised quote based on your needs.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider what type of music they play and whether you can have any input to the setlist, it's important to personalise the event to you. Also ask the provider what happens in case of an emergency such as the singer being ill and unable to perform, all bands worth their salt should have a roster of reliable artists to call upon in such an event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started Soul Revolver 7 years ago from a need to offer something different to the wedding and events industry, we are not your stereotypical cover band in suits and ties, we are a young, fresh and original band who provide an exceptional service with the finest musicians and performers from around the country.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We had a fabulous booking with Arbonne for their Christmas party and it was just fabulous! Such a wonderful event with a crowd that didn't want to leave the dance floor (which is what we want at every event!). The event ran seamlessly, as it always does and we had a wonderful review. All of the events we perform at we love but some really stick in your mind as being fantastic!
