All Anthems Disco provides Disco and DJ entertainment for your event in Cornwall. This includes Birthdays, Weddings, Children's parties and general family or work-related celebrations.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Please let me know the basic details for your event in order to get a quote. This should include: the type of event, date of the event, start and finish time, venue & location & if there are any access restrictions.
It's also helpful if you can fill me in on what sort of music you want, is there a band playing alongside, guest singer, speeches if a wedding & if you need me to set up earlier in the day.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Bear in mind prices can range widely from DJ to DJ, depending on demand, time of year etc. Saturdays are always popular & so it's worth finding a good DJ sooner rather than later. If you can see photos and videos of the DJ in action that helps & if in any doubt, arrange a meeting. Don't be afraid to ask anything - its better to know now than when its too late!

Do you take requests? Yes is the answer :)
How much do you charge? No blanket answer here, need to know the event details. Once I know that I can generate a quote & from there it's a simple process of accepting the quote & making payment in part or full.

Can you stay on for an extra hour? PLEASE ??!! - As I have a young family (They dont let me lie in!) I prefer to end at the contracted time & so extra hours are unlikely, but if I can, I will.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Out of a love for music, entertaining & technology, my journey as a DJ started in 1994 aged 14. This quickly progressed into learning to mix properly & by age 17 I was breaking into the Dance music scene putting on events. I took things further by studying Sound Engineering, which I loved. I then decided to study Youth & Community work & was lucky enough to incorporate Djing & Electronic music making into my work. I returned to Cornwall & returned to Mobile DJing in 2007 & have worked in venues all over Cornwall, From Fields, Barns, Hotels & nightclubs, even a back garden! I am always ready to be flexible & adaptable & enjoy seeing people enjoy themselves & making happy experiences for all my customers & their guests.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I've rarely taken bookings through Add to Event, as I've been busy building up my profile on Facebook, but just recently I thought why not.. & submitted my services for an engagement Karaoke party. I'm happy to say the night went brilliantly & I've just received positive feedback from the Groom to be. I feel it's very unfair to make promises you can't keep, EG "Your dancefloor will be full all night" - But what I can promise is I'll do my best for you. The rest is over to you & your guests!
