What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Useful info would be the event date, the event location, what the event is for, what type of band you require, is there space for a band and is there a sound limiter.
Also how many guests are likely to be there and what could be the age range maybe? Is this likely to be indoors or is it an outdoor event?
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Has the provider won any awards for what they do? Look at any testimonials the provider has on their profile or on their webpage. Have they got any videos of them performing? Have they got a list of songs that they play? Check their insurance and chat to them personally to get an idea of whether they are the band for you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Each of us has always played in bands since we were at school in our early teen years. Natural musicians always want to keep on playing no matter what their age! We've known each other for some years now and decided to get together to form The Suits.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Recently we played for a school charity dance organised through Add to Event. It was a really great night and the communication was brilliant. Everyone at the event loved the band and the dancefloor was packed from the beginning.
