What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide a detailed quotation, we will need the event details including the date, a detailed description of the type of cuisine you require, a rough guide of the number of covers, and any dietary requirements, and venue details if possible. Upon which we can send you a detailed draft proposal.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First and foremost, be as detailed as possible when asking for information, let the supplier know what dietary requirements are needed e.g. vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan etc. Always ask the supplier to advise their public liability insurance, health and hygiene details and the score rating from 1 - 5. 1 being very poor 5 being excellent.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I attended The Thames Valley University, Slough from 1986 to 1989 in Catering and Hotel Management, upon completion I worked in several local restaurants and gained valuable experience working under several high-quality chefs. I then worked in several restaurants in London and Oxfordshire under several Michelin starred chefs. In 1997 I decided to set up my own business and it has been running ever since.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
