What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
It would be helpful to know the date of the event, the duration of the event, what time you would like us there from, the amount of people attending the event, age range, and of course the name of the venue.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure whoever you hire from has the relevant insurance and they are Enhanced DBS checked.
Never go for the cheapest. There is a reason why they are cheap and it's probable they cut costs and take shortcuts. If you check their websites, you will get a better feeling of how professional they are and see if they keep up to date info on the site. Good companies are always on top of their game, so you can be sure you get quality service.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
It started out as a bit of extra income and gave me something to fill my time, after I retired at 51. It has grown to be a full time business with new products and services coming through all the time. Working for yourself is not easy, but the rewards of seeing how much people enjoy what you offer and the smiles on the faces of young and old make it lots of fun. I wish I had done it when I was younger, and fitter, but it's a better workout than going to the gym.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I've had lots of bookings through Add to Event and would recommend them to any business. They provide good quantities of leads that can substantially help increase business, and get your products and services known in the local area. Looking forward to Add to Event helping increase the sales of our popcorn and candy floss carts this year.
