What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide an accurate quote, ideally we need the following - a brief explanation of event, location, the number of guests, any dietary requirements and hours of service required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the provider what experience they have of similar events. Ask about the menu, if the food is freshly prepared, is it locally sourced, is it flexible? Ask how long they need on site to set up, and how much space they will require. Ask how long it will take them to serve your number of guests.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Beacon Burgers was established to let the food do the talking! The taste and quality of our burgers speak for themselves, freshly made by our skilled butcher from 100% chuck steak with zero additives or preservatives and sourced from traditionally reared, pure bred Northumbrian beef. Cooked to order and served in a rich Brioche bun with fresh salad and great sauces.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We did a corporate booking recently where the client had strict dietary requirements. We were able to work with them and produce a bespoke menu. The event went really well and we got great feedback on the day. Pleasingly the client also went out of their way afterwards to leave us great feedback on Add to Event and on social media.
