What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a comprehensive quote we would need to know the date and place of the event. We are fully mobile so we don't need access to electricity or water so as long as we can park we are ready to go! If there are dietary requirements let us know and we can use all our experience to put together a proposal with a focus on value for money.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask for photos and reviews of previous jobs they have done. The customer should look at the menu and decide if this meets their needs and if it's within the budget they have. Ask, how long they have been in the business and what they can add to your event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Scandilicious was launched this year to serve Scandinavian street food. We wanted to be fully mobile and provide the highest quality food and coffee whilst focusing on value for money. We employed chefs that had at least 20 years of catering experience to make sure the food on the menu was truly delicious. Everyone on the team has a real passion for food and catering. The plan is to launch many more Scandilicious vans in the coming months/years.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We just signed up to this site a week ago so we are ready to accept bookings. We were recommended onto the platform by a fellow trader who speaks very highly about Add to Event.
