What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote, ideally we need the event date, a brief description of what you are wanting ie Sandwiches, cold buffet, hot buffet etc. From this information, we can straight away give you a quote per head or if you want to give us a budget we can work a menu out for you personally.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, ask the provider about their menus and availability. Check out reviews from other clients. We love to help people take the stress out of their day by providing a very prompt reliable service that we take pride in looking after our customers.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Lillybetts Cakes started in 2014 when a friend of mine started up a coffee shop and she wanted somebody to make cakes to sell in her café/shop. So I thought, yes, I can do that and it has just gone upwards from there. I just love helping people make their special day/ occasion the best by providing very good quality food, cold buffets, hot buffets and anything else in between.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Well, I have had a lovely experience with one of my customers, who was the nicest person I could ever do business with. It was a job for a Golden Wedding where I supplied all the food for the evening, they had set the room up perfectly for me so all I had to do was to turn up at the venue with the food. They were so courteous and so complimentary that it made it all worthwhile for me. His review was amazing and yes I would recommend any other supplier to this platform it's great.
