What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to be able to provide a comprehensive quote we would need to know the date of the event, location is important for us to be able to calculate the relevant transportation costs and the number of guests attending. As we offer a variety of services it would be of benefit to know what services they are after and for how many hours they would require if for. With this information, we are then able to provide a relevant quote

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend the customer to have a look at the provider's information, photos and details available. Once they have a good knowledge of the provider's information they can then asses their information, pricing structure etc in a better way. They should also ask providers what their packages include, if they can cater for the relevant number of guests and also if they are available for the relevant dates and times.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Life is Sweet - Fairy Floss Makers & More has been created by a desire to offer our eldest daughter Eve a space to work, grow and learn new skills. Mum, Oana has been working in the Event industry for the past 6 years, as a professional Photographer and has her studio in High Wycombe. Eve has been keen to do some work and thus we have started this beautiful venture together. We enjoy making events more fun, and have invested in the best equipment, insurance and took all steps to legalise our business.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We've only recently joined but have had a few bookings our way which has been a great experience to take part in. We greatly enjoyed one of the bookings in London last couple of weeks, where we had to make and serve Candy Floss at a family event where more than 150 people gathered. We've been busy for over 2 hours non-stop but managed to serve everyone that wanted to taste some of our magical Fairy Floss and truly enjoyed seeing all the happy faces of both kids and adults.
