Ideally we need a date, location & event type you are hosting. Estimated guest numbers. If you are looking for any specific food.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about the menu, if anything can be altered. We will always be accommodating. Don't be afraid to ask about special dietary requirements. It's your event, ask for what you want.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
For years I provided catering to family and friends for events they had. I had always dreamed of owning a burger van and decided in 2009 to follow my dreams and opened a cafe in Airdrie called Granny McCanns Cafe. It provided jobs for my 2 daughters whilst they were studying and Amanda has continued to work with me ever since. I then expanded my business to outside catering which grew and grew to the point I only do my outside catering now.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had numerous bookings through Add to Event. One that always sticks out though is a wedding we provided the catering for in a church hall in Airdrie. What a day it was from start to finish doing the day food and evening. The clients were absolutely delighted with the meal and service.
