What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a response to an event organiser we first need a date so we can check our diary for availability. Then where the venue will be and what type of venue eg marquee, private house, hall etc. The number of guests and what type of event the buyer is requiring the catering for. This gives a good base for us to contact the customer and find out more about their requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the provider about their experience and knowledge and for customer testimonials from previous clients who they have completed work for. Never think there is a silly question or something you cannot ask as the provider should be willing to advise and answer all your questions.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Country Cuisine was started to provide a first class catering service on the Suffolk coast to local residents in the area and to visitors staying in properties in this much-loved part of the country. We are passionate about using fresh local ingredients from trusted suppliers and match this with a personal service to our customers. We feel very lucky to be able to share some wonderful moments with our customers and be part of their special celebrations whatever the event.

We have met some lovely customers through using this site. We recently enjoyed catering for this family, we answered their post on Add to Event and was successful in gaining the booking. This was an email sent to us after we catered for their event.
