What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
How can we contribute to the creation of your dream event...? Please provide a date and timings you require, estimated number of guests, venue, and additional services you may need (eg PA and lighting). I am experienced in DJ'ing and providing professional ceilidh band services for weddings and events.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I would give to customers looking to hire a provider -
DJ services - to consider whether the DJ's persona and music fits with the event they are creating, and to communicate in advance about specific musical genres or eras preferred.
Ceilidh/folk band services - to ask about prior experience, the 'style' of the dance caller (which can be variable), and whether the band has a fixed membership with rehearsed music.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have a passion for music and dance of many kinds. I love to provide DJ and ceilidh band services which help people to create fantastic weddings and events in keeping with the style they want, creating great moments and memories.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I'm new to Add to Event, however, I have both played music and called the dances at so many ceilidhs and weddings. I love being part of these special days and events, adding style and sparkle. What I love most about playing at weddings is seeing how couples tailor their day in ways that make it unique and personal to them. I got into Dj'ing as a lover of dance music, and offer proper DJ'ing as a stand-alone service or after ceilidhs. I'm always happy to collaborate and advise on music to be played, and have a wide range of music at my fingertips.
