Rogues Gallery are the unique “not-so-traditional” barn dance band available for barn dances and ceilidhs in Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex and Berkshire. Merging traditional folk music with modern rock, they bring barn dancing to the 21st century, read on for more!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We are Rogues Gallery - The Not So Traditional Barn Dance Ceilidh Band (but we can be!).
All we need to know is the Type of Event (Fund Raiser, Special Birthday, Wedding etc.), the Date and Times, where the dance will be held, your Budget, whether an indoor or outdoor venue plus any special requests (such as specific dances e.g., Strip the Willow).
We are very flexible with regard to the format needed for the Event (just ask) plus we can play background music on request.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out reviews and ask lots of questions about their services and how long it will last etc.
We use top-flight Callers who will get everyone up and dancing from the word "go" (and soon get people forgetting their inhibitions - getting it wrong is part of the fun!).
Barn Dances (or Ceilidhs if you prefer) are an excellent format to get ALL age groups mixing and "breaking the ice" to get to know each other,

Rogues Gallery - The Not So Traditional Barn Dance Band - started life in the mid 1980's in Surrey playing electric guitar based traditional music.
Our current line up uses electric fiddle, guitar and bass to bring traditional tunes to life.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We recently did a Fund Raiser in Plaxtol, Kent in a Forestry Barn and helped Katherine (the Organiser) raise £1700. The local Vicar even joined us on second fiddle!
