Legendary Character Club
Legendary Character Club provides unique and memorable children's entertainment from their very own clown, Bongo. Bongo the clown is available all year round, apart from seasonal times Easter, Halloween and December. Entertainment is in the form of a ventriloquist show, singalongs, dancealongs, jokes, gags and games.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
It is really simple to get a quote from us. All we need is the date, the address of the venue and an estimate of how many children will be there. We also need to know the type of event this is for example is it a children's birthday party or is it public community event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask what it is they offer and how interactive it is. I would want to know how long the service they offer lasts. I would also like to know if they are insured. This is something that is often overlooked and proves pivotal in the case of an accident etc.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Legendary Character Club started out by chance. After losing my job during the pandemic and children not getting to see Santa is where it all began. I normally do Santa for family and friends but suddenly once a few people caught wind of their Santa experience with me it took off. This led on to doing Easter Bunny, Oogie Boogie and now Bongo the Clown. I have always been great with kids and having children of my own helps understand how weird and wonderful their little minds are.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am new to this platform and as most of our bookings come through our own website or Facebook I am not sure who has seen this ad on here but am looking forward to Add to Event growing my business. I can tell you that so far my most memorable event was as the Easter Bunny for Shadows Nightclub for young people with extra needs. I ended up spending more time than expected there as I was having just as much fun as the young men and women at their Easter Party.
