What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We try to provide everything the client wants so we need to know the pick-up time, the pick-up address, the destination & finally the level of service required inc colour of bows & ribbons.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask any provider for a number of things, references are one & operators license & hire/reward insurance is another. Some wedding vehicles are exempt from being a licensed vehicle but it doesn’t hurt to check for any other type of booking. Also, did you know that an operator needs to be licensed to serve champagne in a wedding car? Even if it’s free.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Platinum Executive Travel started in 2015. We’ve over 30 years of experience between us as I’ve been doing this for over 20 years & my wife a little less. We started because we felt the company we were working for didn’t care enough about customer service. After a period working on TV & Film Unit car work where we worked with some A-list celebrities (ask me about this), we decided to go it alone. Things have grown from there really. I enjoy weddings but they are stressful as you can’t make a mistake in someone else’s big day. Thankfully that’s not happened to us. We now have a dynamic company that’s flexible enough to do big or small bookings with the level of customer service we would want ourselves.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We get lots of enquires from Add to Event. When we do a booking we like to give people little extras that go beyond their expectations.
