What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to give you an accurate reply to your request it would be helpful if you could include what you are looking for.
We need to know the rough amount of guests and there expected age range you would like us to cater for.
We also need to know the date and location including operating times start and finish.
We would also wish to know what type of site you would like us to operate on ie: grass, hard standing tarmac or stone, and if there are any obstructions we need to be aware of, such as trees power lines or underground drainage like upon sports fields.
Is there suitable access or restricted traffic movement times such as no movement 1hr before event start time or narrow or weight restricted entrances even low bridges, or steep hills to your location ( we have experienced all these in the past and only knew when we asked or checked for ourselves) these are thing you would not normally think could be a problem until now
Do you require us to operate for free to your guests for a private event or a wrist band system for public events where you operate a wrist band system where you charge for the wrist bands, do you wish us to charge per person and pay a fixed rent or donation to the organiser/committee.
These answers would ensure we know what to expect and would be able to quote you more accurately or alternatively we may be able to offer something you have not thought about.
We have been in this industry for decades and may well have experienced things you would never have thought of.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We consider ourselves to be highly experienced in what we offer, we have seen many situations and only open our equipment when we are 100% happy to.
We keep a close eye on the weather at your location prior to your event date and we make our own predictions which sorry to say are mostly more accurate than what the media has to say but should the weather not be kind on the day of your event then once we have completed an assessment we will inform you of alternative options we can arrange.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started children’s disco party’s in 1988 when I was still at school myself, then in the ’90s our first bouncy castle was purchased, not long after we purchased a used quasar laser tag system and had an inflatable arena made to suit.
Since then we have grown to own and operate more equipment which we rotate every few years (apart from our laser tag)
We are a family business with morals and an enjoyment of our work... it’s not just a job for us, we actually love our work and take pride in each and every event
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are new to Add to Event and have had lots of suitable work come through, however our diary gets full pretty fast and we have only been able to do 1 event which was for a national holiday resort company which went better than they expected, they were so happy with what we provided and our attitude, we have been offered more events next year
