What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We love quoting for events but we need information to be able to do this accurately. Therefore, please provide the date, timings, the type of venue and whether it is indoor or outdoor. The age range, number of attendees and the type of entertainment you require are also vital.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check which services your entertainer can provide. I am multi-skilled and I can provide a selection of services at the same event. Check out the profile pictures to see if they are clean and smart. Ask about insurance, all good entertainers have this and a up-to-date DBS check. Ask how long they have been in the business.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I progressed into children's entertainment after working as a childminder and playgroup field worker. I enjoyed working with children and wanted to go one step further, entertaining them and making them smile.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
My best booking was a birthday party in Nettleton area, on a campsite. It was a small group and it was held in the site playroom. It was sparsely furnished but meant we could all relax and have a great time without worrying about ornaments and such whilst participating in the circus skills.
