Edinburgh's Batman will arrive at a venue in full costume and in the Batmobile where as many photos both inside and outside of the Batmobile as the client can handle can be taken! He has a couple of suggestions for you to check if booking a provider for your event.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

I need to know where the event will be held, how long they need me for and when. I always want to give them and their child an event they'll cherish, so I try to go that extra mile. I arrive in full costume in the Batmobile, play a game or two with all the kids, then give them the chance to have their photos taken both outside and inside the Batmobile.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Tell the entertainer where you are, how long the booking is and when. Ask what they'll be doing. Are there any issues?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I bought a car with the intention of airbrushing it to sell on but fell in love with it. When I finished, it was the Batmobile, so the idea was born to attend children's parties as Batman and it has proven to be very successful!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This really is a great platform and I get of a touch of excitement when a gig comes through.

I recently was asked to pop in to see a young man who had not long come out of hospital. He treated me like I was his best pal and was eager to show me his toys. I loved the visit.
