What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to give our client a quote quickly, we ideally need the time and date of the event, the theme and or character they are looking for, the estimated number of guests and rough area the event will be taking place in. From this, we can find the perfect entertainer within the area or set them up with the perfect stylist best suited to their needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would certainly check reviews and ensure they have the correct checks needed.
Reviews are honest, and you will be able to tell from the review content if it’s the type of company that will best suit you.
For example, if you can see that particular company mainly does dancing and games, but your child prefers magic and balloon modelling - it’s time to get more specific!
It’s also important that you are looking at the correct checks that the company has, it’s always better to be safe than sorry!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have been entertaining since I was a teenager. I got my first job in Selfridges Christmas grotto when I was only 18, and found my passion for entertaining!
I have been teaching and studying drama to children of all abilities since I was in secondary school, and went on to get a degree in theatre arts, whilst working for another events company.
Starting up my own business gave me the opportunity to grow something I loved doing.
I always wanted to create a company that tailor-makes its parties to suit the child and adults vision, which Neverland Events do with ease! I also wanted to give people the opportunity to train and have flexible work whilst studying or in between acting jobs, something that was essential for me!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only been on this website for three days, but have already been speaking with lots of potential clients!
They were super quick to reply to a question I had, and I feel the amount of potential work on here is more than I’ve found on any other website/app!
