What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the exact date of the event, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests being catered for, and potential venue or location. From this information, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a quote based on the customers unique requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask all the suppliers how long they have been established. Ask where the customer can find reviews from previous customers. Ask about different sized fountains and packages available
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Welsh Chocolate Fountains was established in 2006 after visiting the U.S.A in my last year of service in The Royal Navy I attended a function and saw my first ever chocolate fountain. I noticed how popular the chocolate fountain was and noticed the smiles on the faces of the people that were eating the chocolate from the fountain. At that moment I realized that people of all ages simply love chocolate and I wanted to bring this chocolate fountain experience to Wales. On my retirement from the Royal Navy I immediately bought my own chocolate fountain and started the business and that was over 12 years ago!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had a number of bookings via Add to Event and I would not want to pick out a single event to highlight as each event is just as important to us as the last one. I have found that the Add to Event leads tend to be genuine inquiries compared to leads from other platforms. I would recommend Add to Event to other suppliers.
