Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Before starting my chocolate fountain business, I had owned ladies fahion shops, selling mother of the bride outfits and accessories. I attended wedding fayres, so meeting people and providing quality products has always been my aim. Chocolate fountains always attract attention. It's interesting work, each event is different. I meet lots of lovely people, get to work in some fabulous venues and get a buzz out of seeing people enjoying themselves. This also applies to the Candy Cart.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I particularly enjoyed a wedding in Wales; the bride and groom lived abroad so the booking was mainly done by email. I delivered the Candy Cart, the evening before the wedding, to a fantastic Manor House and was greeted by a very excited bride and bridesmaids. They all wanted to help me set up and loved everything about my Candy Cart. They gave me a lovely review and sent some photos. Perfect. Very rewarding. Yes, I would recommend Add to Event; I give out lots of quotes and the bookings I have taken are usually quality bookings. I should mention, it's not about booking the cheapest; you get what you pay for, as the old saying goes!
