What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
It is important to specify the type of event, approximate ages, whether it is corporate, family or children oriented and also any other themes for the event. We are extremely flexible and experienced in all areas, but knowing about the clients and also the venue are a must.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check on relative experience and also skill level. It is important to match the correct performer to the event you are holding. We provide hilarious and inspirational children's entertainers for children's parties and smart, well presented slick jugglers for corporate events and weddings. Many of our team are multi skilled and multi talented and only use the most appropriately experienced person for each specific event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I came into entertainment via education. As a long term enthusiast for juggling and magic, I also trained as a teacher and while working in schools, also ran circus clubs. The news spread and I was being asked more and more to visit other schools and youth groups and so Bezerkaz Circus was born.
So as to heighten the excitement I also trained as a performer- I now have 17 years' experience and counting and I am always adding new excitement, skills, themes and costumes to our diverse and enjoyable parties and workshops.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
One that stands out is a recent visit to a corporate event where we ran circus skills workshops alongside walkabout performances, gigantic bubbles and stilt-walking.
Needless to say the client has already made an enquiry for their Christmas party and also a spring fayre which they will be holding.
