What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First up are they (the provider) DBS checked and insured? Do they have a number of reviews from different sources - Facebook, posted on their own website, Add to Event etc?
Don't be hesitant in asking questions of the provider. You want the package/service experience just to be right for the event you are holding. Do they just offer a single event/party option or can they offer different kind of services?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Martin's Circus Skills Workshops grew out of my love of juggling, for over 30 years. I love coaching and performing circus skills, and it always gives me a buzz when you get a good reaction (to a performance) or when you teach someone a new circus skill and they acquire it in a short space of time.
I've now added magic, balloon modelling and giant bubble making so I can offer a wider variety of services to a broader client base.

I endeavour, to continue, to tailor my services to create the perfect workshop/event/party experience for my current and prospective customer base. In short put them at the heart of everything I do at Martin's Circus Skills Workshops.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is a great way of building up your client base. It’s certainly helped me to do this and continues to do so.
One of my favourite bookings to date, was being part of a charity event in support of the British Transplant Games held at the John Charles Sports Centre in Leeds. I had a wonderful time meeting people from all over the country and chatting to them about their personal connection with the Games. I also really enjoyed sharing magic tricks, a sprinkling of juggling and creating different balloon models with everyone that attended.
