What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a precise quote I would need to know the performance skills you would like for the event, the event date and timings, and how long you would like the performance sets to be. As the skills I offer vary in price, I can then get the correct quote to you. I offer discount if multiple skills are booked.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would always ask to see video footage of the performance acts and photos of them in action. I would also check that they have costumes to fit the theme of your event. I would check that they can cater to the event, for example, if it is a kids birthday, can they provide children's entertainment, or are they more suited to adult events.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I trained as a dancer when I left school and went on to travel the world, working on board ships and in resorts abroad. Whilst I was training I went to the Cambridge Community Circus and started training aerial silks and hoop. From here I fell in love with the air and slowly moved into performing aerial. I always worked as a fire performer and stilt walker when I was home from contracts. I built up a lot of knowledge, working for various events, festivals, parties and weddings. I now work across the UK as an aerialist, fire performer, stilt walker, LED performer, martini glass dancer.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am new to Add To Event and have not worked a booking through this platform yet. I have a few coming up though which I am very excited for. One I am very excited for is Bootfest, a festival for veterans suffering from PTSD and poor mental health. I am providing a half hour show for the festival. I will be performing aerial on my freestanding lollipop and a choreographed fire show.
