What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a quote for party entertainment full of fun and giggles galore, we need to know your party date, party time, party postcode, number of kids attending, age-range and if there is a party theme.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look at the profile, pictures and reviews. Check out external reviews and you'll see what experience and good service they have given for party entertainment, Ask any questions you have and make sure you know what the cost is of what you are paying for. In entertainment, one could say, you get what you pay for so don't be swayed by a very cheap entertainer as there is probably a reason they are the cheapest you have found.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Jenna Rothwell, the founder of Minnie The Clown Parties is a professional Actress, Singer, Dancer, Pre-School Music Teacher with her company Minnie Music, children’s Author of ‘Ben The Outside Dog’ and of course a professional Children’s Entertainer, Balloon Modeller, Face Painter and Children’s Magician.

Jenna loves children and working in children’s entertainment. She has worked in children’s theatre, pantomimes and theatre in education, facilitating author workshops at primary schools and been a part of The party entertainment industry for many years, both here in the UK and in Melbourne, Australia where she resided for four years.
Jenna is also Mum to Little Lori, a lively, happy little 18th-month-old she calls her little Lori Lexi The Clown. She knows first hand how important and magical these childhood years are and that celebrating birthdays is a super special time to be cherished.
Jenna wants to show the world the colourful and fun traditional spirits of clowns to kids! Especially female clowns and the dream is for Minnie to become a female Mrs Tumble!
Jenna is an avid believer in developing and encouraging children’s imaginations and knows how amazing children’s imaginations are and that their young birthdays are so special and wanted to help celebrate their magical birthdays with everything clown, fairy, dance, princess and pirate fun; thus founding Minnie The Clown Parties.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have received a number of party bookings through Add to Event and so we have found it a great platform to pitch ourselves to customers and receive more bookings. We booked a lovely Nursery Christmas Party through Add to Event with one of our wonderful Elf Entertainers. They were looking for a specialised show for tiny tots and they found us on here. They will be booking us again for future events so a great success from an Add to Event booking.
