What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide an accurate quote, I need to know an approximate number of guests expected. I will also need an idea of the age group/groups. Please look carefully at the sort of clowning that I do so that any expectations can be met as best as possible.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Check any website or social media sites of the provider in question. Try and speak to them in person to get a measure of how they work. Ask about their experience in the area you are interested in.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started performing as 'Bert' the clown as I realised that it was a great way to bring people together to laugh & play. Over the years I have greatly enjoyed learning the tricks of the trade! Comedy magic, big bubbles, circus skills & slapstick comedy routines. Getting the children involved in the shows is always greatly entertaining!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I had a great show at a golf club in South Wales. A super mixed crowd of children and adults. A very nice setting. A warm welcome and lots of laughs all round, happy faces & friendly enthusiastic kids!
