What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Three Piece to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we ideally need to know: The event date & location details (indoors or outdoors), a brief explanation of the type of event you are hosting, the estimated number of guests and a rough idea of budget per head. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a totally unique package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, we would always check out their website and what previous customers have said about their experiences. Secondly, the cheapest is not always the best, a lot of people have jumped on the cocktail boom in the last few years but don't necessarily have the experience to make quality drinks, so we would always look at why the company started their business and who will be making your drinks. Find a company that is passionate about what they do and ask questions.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Three Piece Bar is a duo from Hertfordshire, who met while working in a champagne and cocktail bar. When studying at Leeds University, they instantly shared a love for all things cocktail. With a Bachelor of Arts in design and marketing, they finished university to enter the world of work, but the office life was a bit on the sour-side. Therefore, they reunited (again, in a bar), to combine forces and create the best cocktail service possible. Their passions for high-quality drinks and unique designs come together as all-inclusive packages.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Of all the events we do, weddings are the most fun! We were booked by Jonny and Amy for their wedding, and it couldn't have gone better. The bride and groom asked for a very specific selection of cocktails, infused by the company. As we have experience in this area, we worked with them to develop the products and delivered them with style. Moreover, we were in conversation with the bride and groom for a period of 3 months to ensure we had every point covered and creative solutions to the problems that incurred along the journey.
