The Mane Bar'n provide fresh fruit (no syrups) based cocktails. They operate from a 24ft long converted horse-box. Ice machine, Martini glasses and smiles.. that's all they need. Based in the NE, travel anywhere and everywhere.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a true and honest quote we would need the following...

+ Event Date
+ Number of guests
+ TENS in place. (Yes or No)
+ A brief description of the type of event you're hosting.
+ Venue (indoors or outdoors)
+ Full horsebox is 24ft.. Or do you need a smaller portable bar?
+ Are we supplying the alcohol?

The more detail from above the better for us sending quotes etc. We have been in the smallest of places and some of the biggest events, so please don't hesitate to ask us questions.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For me.. I'd be asking what their cocktails are made from. Example - a lot of businesses use syrups due to cheapest, imagine drinking a can of full fat coke, you get the sugar taste on your teeth... You don't want that from a cocktail. We use fresh fruit and no syrups. Simple. Fresh tasting cocktails.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started due to our passion working 15hr shifts in a cocktail bar.. However, we made somebody else wealthly due to our efforts. So we decided to figure out how to get an Ice machine into a horsebox and go on the road showcasing our cocktails... The selling point. Horsebox and no syrups.. All fresh.

After a while we invested time and money into more smaller and unique looking units. Horsebox #2, 2 x golf buggies and a more recent purchase a smart car turned pub!

The goal - to generate enough cash flow to quit our jobs and manage a team to operate all our units. 10 units are our target.
