What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. Our trailer is pretty different from others on the market & for best effect, having the trailer outside your venue would be the option we suggest.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Try & gather as much information from the provider as you can, with regard to the drinks they have on offer & how much time they will actually spend at your event. Be clear to ask for all costs upfront.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started the business for a number of reasons, but the one that I feel is most important is that I wanted to do something I would love and enjoy. I have spent many years behind a desk whether it be in Customer Service or HR & I just wanted to interact with people more. I am a very chatty person and I love nothing more than helping people celebrate their special occasions. After being made redundant, this gave me the inspiration to finally start a fun business of my own, where having fun, creating a relaxed atmosphere and my customers were the most important things.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Since the short time in joining Add to Event, I have had the opportunity to quote for many different events. This business gives you a great opportunity to speak with people that may not otherwise have seen your business.
