What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote the most important information is time, location, expected footfall or numbers to be catered for and if the client is interested in any branding options. This allows us to provide an accurate quote in the first instance which can then be adjusted if any circumstances change. If the client has any set up restrictions or set u issues that might prevent a coffee unit from setting up then it would be worth mentioning.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask the provider about their previous experience with the type of event that you need coffee bars at. See if they have any previous references to back up the quality of experience that they are offering. Refer them to social media sites where a lot of the previous events can be vouched for, ask if the menu listed is all they provide or are there any services not listed that might benefit the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Mobile Coffee Bean was started because we felt that there was a lack of decent coffee in the mobile coffee arena. Coffee has become a massive staple for any event but we were fed up of going to places only to have awful coffee and be charged extortionate prices. We set about changing that and the Mobile Coffee Bean was born. We have grown in 5 years to be a mobile coffee company that is now at the forefront of the industry, catering for events across the UK and Europe. We have achieved what we set out to do and bring a quality high street style coffee experience to any event - one that doesn't break the bank!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have been booked several times through this site for both corporate and private events. One that does stand out is Dominic's wedding. It was an amazing day and on a cold February the hot drinks were a god send outside the church. The cart looked stunning and everyone commented on the service we provided.
