What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, apart from the technical details such as guest numbers, we would need to know the date, rough idea of times, food ideas, what the event is for and to give us an idea of a few foods that you love. It would also be good to know where you love to eat and the style you want for the party, wedding or event. We live and breathe events and love to tailor things to you.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We have seen lots of amazing events, so the more you can tell us about you and your event the more we can suggest. With caterers, it's important to get all costs included in the quote as in the past many have been guilty of hiding costs then adding nearer the time. We champion transparency and honesty, and if we think something won't work or can't be done within budget we will tell you.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started as a wedding DJ and went on to run an international events business for corporate events in amazing cities across America and Europe. I bought a restaurant in 2007, and had children which meant I needed to travel less, so developed the catering business which has gone from strength to strength.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
So many enquiries come through Add to Event, but we recently catered at an amazing corporate dinner inside a converted church. The guests were brilliant and the atmosphere was amazing. It was a small event for 30 guests so attention to detail was key. The Add to Event service worked very well to allow the enquiry and planning service to work seamlessly with the whole process documented.
