What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide a quote let us know the following -
Event date, Location, Type of event, Number of guests, How long you would like us to serve food, What would you like us to serve.
We can then tailor a quote, especially for your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It's important to know what you're getting. Does the supplier have experience with events similar to yours? What does the quote mean, what will you get for your money? Is there a time limit on service? Also, be sure to let your supplier know if you would like gluten-free or vegan options, as while these can easily be catered for it is helpful to have an idea of numbers. Most importantly look at the reviews!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Tin Canteen had been a long term dream that I didn't ever think would become reality. I wanted something different, that stood out from the crowd, and when I found the little Rocket trailer I knew it was now or never! It's been a very steep learning curve, but I love every minute of it!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've been booked for SO many great events through Add to Event, ranging from Hollywood blockbuster movie sets to intimate weddings, school proms, festivals and everything in between. I've loved them all, but one particular movie set will always be top of the list! Having to move our little trailer so we weren't in shot, meeting the writer, some cast and crew.....it was utterly surreal and a real dream come true as we're all crazy fans! Don't ask us what film though, it's top-secret!!
