What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

I need to have a long description of the event, what is going to happen and the type of audience targeted. I also need to know the event date and if they already have an idea of what is going to happen. A clear description of what they want and when they want it. A precise date and timing is crucial.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would ask them to know precisely what type of food they want instead of doing a global search. Very often we answer requests and the quote is not right because the provider doesn't want the food we quote at the beginning.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Master Crepes started when I first arrived in the UK. I couldn't do my TV journalist job anymore and I wanted to be a chef. I went into the area I knew the most - crepes and galettes. I went to the oldest crepes school in the world in Brittany and I have built this business from the ground up.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There have been quite a few bookings through Add to Event and I think the communication is great when the quote is accepted. The Master Crepes team always try to do a bit more than what has been quoted initially in order for the customer to enjoy the experience as much as possible and always be happy with the service. It is very crucial for us to make people happy with our Brittany food, using great produce and being able to explain exactly what is in their food and how to cook it to get the best result.
