What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote, we ideally need to know the type of event, date and time of the event and the venue. From this we can begin with an estimate suited to your requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Well, we only use the very best ingredients. Free range eggs, beautiful salted caramel and, of course, the one and only Nutella. Some of our competitors can perhaps produce crepes at a cost but we are not prepared to compromise on quality. Remember that cheap crepes are packed with cheap ingredients!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Xavier and Caroline started this business as they wanted to bring a little bit of their homeland France to the UK. They bought a little HY Citron Van and totally renovated it. You may have seen them and the van on TV with George Clarke's Amazing Spaces! Their love for the culinary arts has only increased with time, and their renovated mobile crepe van gives them plenty of opportunities for practice.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event have been really good for our business. There are so many leads to follow up and many lead to bookings. We really like the ease and speed that both the customer and traders can work through the site. One event we catered for amounted to well over a hundred people - all for the small sum of a credit. Well worth it, in our opinion!
