Alibi Productions offer a selection of acts and entertainment available to hire for events, venue theme nights and tribute performers and vocalists. They are based in the North-West but will travel throughout the UK. Read on to find out more and about some events they have taken part in with some of their performers.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide an accurate quote, your request would need to include the date & location of the event, the theme (if any) and type(s) of performer required. The type of event and whether indoor or outdoor is useful too.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do ensure your entertainment providers are experienced, trained, and insured. Perhaps check out their website and social media for reviews and recommendations. Ask them about what they are providing to make sure it fits with what you need for your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Having worked as a professional performer on a freelance basis across the UK, Europe and Asia I feel I have extensive knowledge of the industry and know what it takes to make a great event! I work closely with all our clients to bring their visions to life.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Over the Christmas/New Year period I provided Vintage Showgirls to greet and mingle with guests at a 30th Birthday party in the Blackpool area. The performers were costumed to suit the ever-popular, Great Gatsby theme and we had wonderful feedback and images sent from the host, and Birthday Girl herself.
Very recently I had a request for performers to compliment an Arabian Nights themed belated corporate Christmas Party! Liaising with the client and knowing what another entertainment was arranged for the evening, we supplied a professional Belly Dancer with 10 years experience performing across Egypt and two other performers to provide a photo opportunity for guests on arrival, and then performed after the main meal was served. We love to make our performances as interactive and engaging as possible, so on this occasion, the guests absolutely loved being able to join us on stage with coin belts we provided!
