What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We ask clients for their event date and venue if possible with a little explanation of the type of event they are holding and if there are any specific colours or themes. We also ask for the number of guests and whether it is indoor or outdoor event, or a mixture of both. We are then able to create a mood board of our work for the client - later followed by a bespoke design.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask to see images of their previous work. Check online reviews and previous client statements. Ask for an itemised breakdown of all hire costs - down to the last tea light holder - this then allows you to go through the complete quote and adjust easily if needed.

Olive Events was created from our love of styling and design. We have a 16 year background in Art Directing and Designing for TV and film and simply love what we do. Our passion to deliver your wedding or event exactly as you have specified means you are in safe hands and have nothing to worry about. Whether it's the hire of one or two items or a complete styling package we put our all into making your design everything you could have wished for.
