BLX Events
BLX Events provide design, decorations and management services for corporate (networking events, business launches, seminars etc) and private (personal celebrations) events. They focus on planning an immersive experience for their clients.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to give a comprehensive quote, we will need a brief of the event.
Date, time, number of guests, what sort of decorations they require (balloons, table, venue, backdrop etc), whether it's in an indoor or outdoor event, if they require any personalised items.
From this information, we will be able to build a suitable design and a quote for the client.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say, make sure you're hiring them based on their quality of work and their interaction with you!
Customer service is a key thing to look out for, but to also make sure that the provider you book knows exactly what they're doing (in terms of the work you're hiring then for). There is nothing worse than hiring someone who can't deliver!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
BLX Events was born out of a childhood passion. Our founder (Shade Adeniji) from a young age, loved being involved with helping others on their birthdays and other special occasions, and as she grew older, the passion to add to people's days organically turned into a career.
BLX Events is about proving luxury experiences for all our clients, from the first interaction down the the event day. We will work with you to ensure that your day is memorable for you and your guests.

Our first booking was a proposal booking. We provided decorations to add to their special moment.
It was a very smooth process, and being booked through Add to Event, gave the client confidence that they were working with a reliable business.
