What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a client we need to know the type of event, number of guests, date, budget, type of venue and the service required, such as the type of decorations needed. With this information we can put together a suitable package.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider for the type of service they are offering and price. Ask them about public liability insurance and patent test certificates relating to electric equipment as well.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Creations by Viva was born out of passion in organising events for friends and family for free. I became so good at it and was encouraged to turn it into a business. I have a flair this work and have a very good customer relationship with people due to the nature of my daytime job.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am new to Add to Event and am yet to secure any bookings, but am very much looking forward to my first one!
