What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be able to give a comprehensive quote, I like to know what the customer is looking for in detail. The more they tell me the better as it allows me to provide a detailed quote for them and tailoring it to their needs. Things such as colours they prefer, the number of guests, the decorations they have in mind. If a customer wants to send over pictures or links of decor that they like then this is something I also agree to. It gives me an idea of what decor I can offer and how to make the clients' visions into the decor that will transform their event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask as many questions until you feel you have found the right provider. You can never ask too many questions, it is best to know everything before making any payment. If you feel you would like to meet up with a provider to see the services they provide, then this is definitely something I would suggest. This will give a reassurance that you have chosen the correct provider and allow you to get a feel for the service and if it is what you are looking for.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Vintage Venue Styling started in 2016 bring vintage, inspired decor to weddings, birthdays and many other events. My passion was always to provide a service that transformed a customer's vision of the decor for their event into a reality. My work has allowed me to also offer traditional, modern and customised venue decor alongside our popular vintage pieces. Providing a quality service is the most important factor for Vintage Venue Styling, making sure my customers know that I am invested in their event and will deliver the decor that will transform their venue.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am relatively new to Add to Event and have made many bookings for this year through this platform. I am looking forward to providing my services to my customers and showing them what Vintage Venue Styling provides. Although I am yet to undertake these bookings, I am in constant contact with my customers until their event. I like to make sure all customers have contact with me to know that their bookings will take place and reassure them. Add to Event is a great platform as I have made connections with two other providers and we have worked alongside each other. I booked them myself through the platform for an event I was coordinating and I am very happy to have made new connections through Add to Event.
