What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a complete quote for a prospective customer, we require information on the type of event, number of guests and the venue alongside timing and access availability prior to the event. In the case of weddings alongside personal details (married name. both partner's first names) playlists and first dances selections do help but are not vital

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise customers to do their research and ask for references and reviews before even speaking to the provider, at which point the questions that need to be asked are, is the provider insured? is a deposit required? what service is actually provided and does it meet expectations?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My DJ business was born out of watching friends DJ and knowing, with my knowledge of music, that I could do a lot better.
Music and entertainment are two of my biggest passions, alongside a keen eye for detail and a professional attitude

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My first event through Add to Event, was as an emergency DJ at a children's party. The whole process of getting in touch with the lady who required a DJ was very simple and not bogged down by deposits and paperwork
