What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
It's all very simple, straightforward and easy with me. Just let me know the party date and location and if all ok, I will perform for up to 5 hours usually from 7 pm till 12 midnight. I bring everything from PA system to DJ gear, lights and lasers and it only takes 20 mins for me to set up so you can relax and let me take care of it.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Pick someone who is adaptable and happy to work with you on the perfect playlist for your special day. I collaborate with the client to make sure the music is just right for them and their guests. You have to have those special songs pop up throughout the night.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I picked up a harmonica age 4, a guitar age 6 and started playing the drums age 8. I am a musician through and through with a huge record collection and knowledge of music throughout the decades. I began DJing 5 years ago and every time I perform people say there is something special about the way I DJ. I love vibing with the crowd and kicking off a great party atmosphere!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I love playing the Christmas parties in December! Everyone is in high spirits and gets on the dancefloor fast. A highlight show was my recent DJ performance at Manchester Art Gallery. I played a blend of old school tunes from The Stone Roses and Oasis to Underworld and Faithless. It was a brilliant night.
