What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
What we would need to know from an organiser, is the date & time of the event, location and a brief explanation of the event in question. This would allow me to create a comprehensive quote that highlights the services I provide and in turn easy for the potential client to understand. If it's concise then they would feel more at ease.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Have an idea of their budget. If we know what their budget is, or if we have an idea of what it is then we can tailor our services to meet their needs. We appreciate that sometimes the entertainment is usually down on the list for the events that they are planning, but if we don't know, we can't help them
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have had. a passion for music since the age of 5, and I love to entertain in any form (my mother is a singer in her church and my father is a comedian) I started practising about 6 years ago just to pick up another skill and I began to really enjoy it. When Lockdown happened I had every day to get better which I did and then started doing little gigs at parties, and when the confidence grew, weddings and corporate gigs. I love to sing and I love to perform, now I have a chance to perform and entertain in a brand new way.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I'm new to Add to Event so still looking forward to my first booking on this platform, but my youtube shows that I'm active in these DJ streets!
