What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide a quotation, we simply need to know: Date of event, type of event (i.e. wedding, birthday party, anniversary etc), timings (approximate are fine) and general location (just the first part of the postcode is adequate). With this information, we can then provide an accurate estimate for your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We would suggest you take a few moments to read reviews from previous clients. These should provide a great indication of the type of DJ / events they have provided services for previously. When quotes are received, consider each on its merits. Does it cover any specific details you have mentioned in your brief? Are there any hidden charges? Don't be afraid to ask for further details/arrange a chat via phone to gauge if your preferred DJ feels like a suitable fit for you and your event.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
The Add To Event platform has generated numerous bookings for us, from small parties in private homes to large-scale weddings in prestigious venues. Some are arranged at short notice (with bookings placed just a few days prior to the event), whilst others are more complex and have long lead times (12 months+ in some cases). The level of detail that Add to Event seeks from prospective organisers is just right to ensure we can quote accordingly. Their fees are reasonable too. If we receive direct enquiries via our website/facebook page that we are unable to fulfill, then we recommend the organiser places an advert on Add To Event.
